The picture is Bill & I (Anita) in our convenience store. What better to do after you retire than start a new business -- now 2.5 yr. old. I married after my junion yr...stupid, but got me 4 wonderful kids. Divorced after 13 yr. Now remarried & will celebrate our 40th in June. When I was 36 Bill & I had our 1st (my 5th) & 3 yr later we adopted our last. I have 4 boys & 2 girls, 11 grandchildren, and 4 1/2 great-grandchildren. What a blessing! When I was 39 I earned an Assoc Degree in Metallurgy Technology. Worked in that field for many years. Then earned a BA in Psychology, and 2 yr. later at 60 yr old earned a Masters in Social Work. I worked for the State of Oregon (DHS) until I retired at 65. Then I opened my own private practice in counseling. Jan 2010, I let my LCSW License lapse. I continue to see select former clients for free. Oct 2008, we purchased an almost dead convenience store just 2 miles from our home. Learning curve went straight up !!
