Anita's Story
Life
Well where do you begin. I got married in 1967 to Richard and we will be celebrating our 40th anniv. this coming month. Hard to believe that you can stay with one person for that long anymore. We have two children, a daughter - 39 yrs old and a son - 36 years old. Our daughter and her husband have two boys, 12 and 10. Our son has a daughter -15 yrs. old. He recently was married.
We spent a great deal of time when our kids were in high school running from one athletic event to the next. Our kids were involved in Track, cross country and football. Track and cross country were the highlights of those years. We work...Expand for more
ed alot of the meets as timers and/or in the concession stand. I have fond memories of traveling with my kids to the Junior Olympic competitions that they were in.
Now we attend our grand-childrens games. Football, baseball, basketball. So you can see we hit just about every sport.
My husband and I also attend the Admiral games as we are avid hockey fans. That came from us living in Il. for a few years when the Blackhawks were on the top of the list.
School
Graduated from West Div. Never pursued my dream of going to college. Started working and than got married and raising a family. Just didn't work out for me.
