Anita's Story

Well, I was Anita Allen Smith. I came to Glencliff from Central. I was in the band in 10th and 11th. Chuck Byrn, Joe Yates, Anita Bartlett, Brenda Pate were a few of my friends. I had my daughter 3 wks after we graduated in 1972. I worked at Genesco, Formfit Rogers and then moved to Marshall Co. I even raised a little tobacco. started going to MTSU in 1990 and graduated in 1995 with a BS in Nursing. I was a nursing home, home health, med surg etc nurse. Had to quit in 2007 due to Lupus complications. I have 2 great daughters, aged 40 and 36. I have 4 grandkids who live down the drive or thru the woods from me. They are great! I married my Chemistry lab partner when I was at MTSU! We were married 19 yrs.today!
