Anita's Story
Life
I retired from Boeing (31 years, 11 months). I'm divorced. I have 1 daughter, 4 grandchildren and 5.5 wonderful great-grandkids.
I loved to travel. I also like, reading, sewing, and other crafty stuff. I live in beautiful downtown Auburn.
I had a stroke in May, 2019, Just like anything I do, it was a full-fledged, over-the-top stroke! At first, I couldn't swall...Expand for more
ow and my left side was totally paralyzed. In one part of my brain I was running around screaming in panic. Another part of my brain was filled with peace, love and forgiveness, (I tried my hardest to hold onto that feeling.)
I guess I've recovered about 80-85%. It's difficult to estimate. Whatever it is, my travelling days are over. And now we have the covid virus.
