Anita's Story
Today it is May 8, 2008. In Texas we have just ended Cinco De Mayo weekend, Good Mexican food and fiestas. Hi!!! I am back trying to get in touch with people before next year and the 30 year class reunion. Since the last reunion, I am divioced and have a boyfriend and 4 cats. I am still a Womans Health Nurse Practitioner and work in an outptient in Garland Texas and provide prenatal and gynecologic care for the women in the area. I love my job and am going on my second generation in taking care of women and their daughters, moms etc... I have been doing this for 18 years and the babies are now becoming teenagers and they come to the clinic for their annual exams. I started working on my Masters degreee online last year, and I am just taking one class at a timel Technology has bypassed me and my sons or younger co-workers are teaching me the new comouter skills needed for the classes. classes and I am currently taking class number 6 which is research. (Not one of my favorite subjects). I came home last for a quick weekend to visit the last living sister of my Grandmother, who hadn't seen my Aunt and I home toh=gether for 28 years and she wanted to see us before she died. My AUnt Helen and I came up for a fast 3 days of family and flew back to Texas. Next year on the big 30 reunion I would like to spend some extra time seeing some high school friends I haven't seen since I left home. This will probably be the last time I come back to Minnesota for awhile. I hope to see everyone at the reunion next year. At the last reunion most of my graduation class was there, but there are few I would like to see that weren't there. Well I hope everyone has a good summer.
