Ann's Story

My husband, Joel, and I pulled our 3 kids out of school for one year and home schooled them on our sailboat; rented out our home for that year and sailed from Tacoma, WA to Alcapulco, Mexico and back up into the Sea of Cortez. Our kids at the time were 13...Expand for more
, 11, and 7. The kids even held their own night shifts while sailing. It was the most enjoyable time of our lives to really slow down the pace of life but yet challenge ourselves and be with each other 24/7. What a growing and bonding experience it was!
