Ann is from Modesto, California. Her schools include Modesto High School. She worked at Turlock, Empire, Modesto City School Districts as a teacher and in school administration. Retired, she keeps busy with "Beekman & Beekman", a family honey and wine agritourism destination and marketing business.

Who would have ever guessed in 1962 that technology would have played such a role in keeping people connected. I have always loved the opportunities it offered educators and children in making sense of the world otherwise out of reach for many.
