Ann's Story
Life is all full of twists and turns and you really don't know where you'll end up until the end of the ride, so you've got to hang on and grab all of the experiences you can until the end of the ride...good or bad.
When I was in High School I had my career plan all chosen and was determined to acheive it. I was going to be a Band Director, I was going to be a Great Band Director. Then college happened, then a lot of bad choices in relationships, taking job positions to pay the bills, then when I hit 38 I realized my life wasn't at all what I expected it to be when I was 18.

3 foot sail boat and cruised the Caribbean for three years. I learned about trust in your partner, trust in God, letting go of things you can't control and having to patience to make the right decisions at the right time. It was a life changing experience for me.
When we returned I put my life back together how I had envisioned it. I'm not a band director, but I teach private flute/clarinet lessons to middle and high school students. I work as a bookkeeper part-time in a music store to supplement that. My life is about family, music, sailing/watersports and counting my blessings.
