Ann's Story
Life
Graduated from Mary Hardin Baylor 1978 with degree in Nursing.
Spent 7 years at M.D. Anderson Hospital/Tumor Institue in the Surgical ICU.
Moved to Grand Prarie and worked at hosptial in Grand Prarie, Charlton, and Parkland as ER nurse until 1993.
After my Mother died (Mary Darnell) - many students took her course's in 9th grade science and Jr./Sr. Chemesty and Physic's.
Opened a Home Health company for 4 years
Move to south TX to be close to in-laws that needed help with running the ranch.
Now live just out side of San Antonio - have house and storage unit company and ...Expand for more
40 miles from in-laws. Plan on selling house and storage units and move to the ranch.
Since 2001 began working as consultant for long term care facility - now working as independant consultant throughout multiple states, and running the storage units. I work to clean area around house and storage units and perform all types of handy man/women work. I stay very busy.
Have two daughters - one (27 y/0) finishing her degree in nursing in December and the youngest (25 y/o) has one more year in the service - Navy working on airplanes. Then will go to school to get her degree in Radiology.
