Ann's Story
Life
In 1993 I left Wichita Falls for grad school in Richmond, VA. I'd divorced a couple of years earlier. My only son, Josh, was headed to Arlington to attend UTA. It was time for me to make a change, too. Two years later, with masters degree in hand, I started work in New Orleans. A culture shock to be sure! I loved New Orleans and the job. byterian Church (U.S.A.). Josh has wandered this way - my sister and her daughter, too. Josh married a sweetheart of a woman April 1, 2007. Yeah, he found a terrific Kentucky woman. With family around, a challenging job and living in a climate with four real seasons, this is a good time in my life.
Now in 2015, it's still a good time in my life. Two years ago I met and married a terrific man. 2014 I retired. I never thought I'd do either one - remarry or retire. I love every minute of every day.
