Ann's Story
After graduating from Central in 1974, I attended Ricks College in Rexburg, ID for two years, then transferred to BYU where I graduated in 1978 with a B.S. in Psychology (because it was cheaper than therapy).
From there, I moved to Salt Lake City where I met my first husband. We were together for nine years (1980 - 1989) and had two sons. I met my second husband in 1990 and moved with him to the Pacific Northwest where we've been ever since.
For the past eight years I have been working as a tax preparer for an accounting firm, and am fortunate enough to work only during the "busy season" - January 1st to April 15th.
My husband is retired, and the rest of the year we ride motorcycles (Victory's). I learned to ride just four years ago, and in that ...Expand for more
time have logged upwards of 50,000 miles. We are having a blast with this. During the 2008 riding season we took road trips to Eastern Washington, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Oregon and California. This year we rode to Montana, Utah, Idaho, Oregon and the Canadian Rockies.
My sons are now 25 and 22 years old (as of 2009). The oldest is at the University of Utah working on his master's degree in chemical engineering. The younger one isn't quite ready for college.
We have two dogs (Belgian Tervuren) ages 10 and 8, who are our current babies.
Other interests include horses (no surprise there), waterskiing, scuba diving, cooking and gardening. I've posted additional photos on my timeline.
I'm looking forward to hearing from old and new friends alike.
