Ann's Story
I graduated from Crystal Lake High School in Crystal Lake, IL in 1969. I received my Associate's Degree from Harper College in Palatine, IL in 1974. I was a commuter student to NIU from Wheaton, Illinois from 1975-1976. After graduation, did a stint at Dunkin' Donuts to pay dental bills. Went on to teach high school social studies. From there I worked with college students at the Institute of Slavic Studies in Wheaton, IL. I got my Master's Degree in History at Loyola University of Chicago in 1987. gham in 1995 and a certification in ministry through the Diocese of Birmingham. Was campus minister at College of Charleston and MUSC for 3 years before coming to Massachusetts. I am a licensed psychotherapist in South Carolina and a licensed mental health counselor in Massachusetts. In May of 2008 I graduated from Boston College with an M.A. in Pastoral Ministry. For the last 8 years my husband, Jim, and I have lived in the Boston area where I was a college chaplain at Tufts University. We have just recently moved to the Washington, DC area where I have taken a new position at a small college as a mental health counselor and academic advisor.
