Ann's Story
Life
After high school, I went to the University of Michigan, majoring in History and Political Science. I married Alan Winkelstein (AB Davis 1953). We lived in Los Angeles and Seattle, then moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 37 years ago. I got my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning and worked for many years as an urban planner. leigh, N.C. and Warwick N.Y. so I come to New York often. After Alan died, and I retired, I took up sailing as a hobby and have sailed all overe the world including New Zealand, French Polynesia, and Central/South America. When not traveling or visiting my grandchildren, I spend the summers at my cottage in Chautauqua, New York. I love to read and do a lot of walking and biking in my retirement.
