Ann's Story
Let's see - sadly left Security end of Aug.'59 - Dad transferred. Moved to suburb of Philly & HATED my school. Graduated in a class of 500 - way too big!! Missed everyone at Widefield so much.. Went to work in office immediately after school. Bought my fav car - '60 Chev Impala convertible, black with red interior - slick. Wish I had kept it. Married in Dec. '64. Husband in Air Force; Dau born in France & son in England. Lived in South Jersey & moved to central MD in 1977. Shocked by divorce in 1988. Visited Tanya, Jayne & Jim...Expand for more
my in the Springs in 1989. Moved back to my beloved Colorado in Oct. '89 with my parents & sister Debbie. Settled in Denver & loved life there. This was same grouping that originally moved east.. Went down to Springs many times, but no one seemed to want to come up to Denver!! Married current husband, Charles, late 1994. Time marched on; we both developed health issues and retired in 2008. Moved back to MD to be near my two kids. Hated leaving CO again, but it was for the best. Would to hear from anyone & everyong!! Love, ann
