Ann's Story

Hi all, I'm a retired bilingual (Spanish-English) 2nd grade teacher, but I'm actually working on contract most of the time to earn extra bucks... Doing testing and administrative work at the school in Watsonville, California where I have worked for 14 years. My husband John and I just celebrated 38 years of marriage!! Can't believe it!!!! n Buddhist monastery for 9 months and is now hanging out in Europe. He is thinking about applying to be an intern at the Lowell Whiteman School. Something I'm excited about.... John and I lived in 9 different countries during the 25 years he was a diplomat, 1971-1996 Seems like a long time ago now. I now live in the Santa Cruz, CA area and love it. But I was thrilled to be back in Steamboat last Nov. to see the beautiful aspens.
