Ann's Story
Hello: Wow it's been a long time! So much has happened in my life. I've lived in Mt, Co, Ut and now in Wa. I was married 2x and now am single. I had kids and then went back for my masters in linguistics. It was the greatest thing that ever happened for me. I'd gone on 4 'relief missions' to Mex and Colombia, SA and then went to Guatemala to see if I wanted to get my doctorate in Mayan studies. I loved the people and country. was planning on doctoral studies when I was in a bad car crash. I had to stop instructing, but it's fine as now I'm free to do what I want. I'm involved in human rights work and enjoying life a lot. I'm now reflecting on life and wondering how so many are doing. Those high school yrs were so full of fun and yet we hid a lot of pain, at least I did. I'd give anything if I could make different choices in many aspects of life. But, I'm so glad I am who I am and have the opportunity to make a difference in other's lives.
