Ann's Story
Married to Timothy Jordan with one son named Andrew. We still live in West Knoxville. Recently retired from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. My last postion was Admistratve Assistant to the Director of the Chemical Sciences Division. I currently enjoy volunteering for different organizations located in Knoxville.
I love to read and also enjoy cross-stitching, knitting, and crocheting. I really enjoy cooking, especially trying out new recipes. I am now working on perfecting my own pasta. Pretty good so far but still needs a little work.
In fairly good condition health wise although I did have to have a knee replacement last year. Everthing else is still orginal with no tucking or tightening.
We are avid fans of both the Lady Vols and the men's basketball teams. No so much football although we do support the team.

ecember we adopted a tabby cat from the shelter. I wanted a small calico but brought home a tabby which turned out to be mostly Maine Coon and although he is only 10 months old, he weighs a little over 16 pounds and his tail is over 15 inches long. With this breed, I am told that he can grow to almost 30 pounds. By the way, his name is Albert E. The shelter had named him that because they said he reminded them of Albert Eienstein. We tried to change the name but we realized he really was an Albert. We have to be so careful because he stands on his hind legs and tries to open the door to go outside. We tries to open drawers and is always trying to get into mischief. As you can tell we love him dearly. Our last cat lived to be 19 (just two months short of her 20th birthday) so hopefully we will have Albert at least that long.
