Anna's Story

Life Hi Everyone, Lots has happened since H.S., I got married in 1979, we had three beautiful little girls. We split when our youngest was 5. My son's dad and I have been together for almost ten years and he has been an amazing dad to all my kids. Our girls have grown into three beautiful young women and are full time college students. I also attend the Tribal college, I'm only taking two classes but I love it. I lived with my husband in Savannah Ga. for three years, that was a great experience. My son Logan is 9 yrs. old, I can't believe how time flies. We also moved to the Isabella Indian Reservation 5 year's ago. This is the best place I have ever lived. Life here is so different, no pressure. We have the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort a block from my house, so if anyone want's to come up e-mail me. I get fifty percent of all rooms and suites with my tribal identification.Looking forward to hearing from old friend's, so e-mail me and let's catch up. Anna (Luchene) Roney Update, my oldest daughter Angel graduated with her associates degree on May 5th which is also my birthday. It was the best gift I could receive. In the fall she is on to CMU. My other two girl's Jessica and Ashley will graduate next month. Things here on the Rez are great, spring has arrived and I love it. Time to get the garden going and my little Lilac bush is blooming for the first time. Yes, life is good. David and I are divorced and Jim and I have been together for almost 11 years. School I moved to Bridgeview in 196...Expand for more
6 and started first grade at Bridgeview school. My first crush was Gary Vershoore, it was first grade and I thought I would love him forever.lol. Actually I still do just not in the same way, we became great friends through the years. I was so shy and Brian Butt used to make my life hell everyday, I think he thought it was his lifes work. My other secret crush was on Steve Rendell, I thought he was just the hottest thing I had ever seen and was he ever sweet. Junior High at Wilkens was better, I wasn't as shy. Still shy but not a total recluse by the way I am not shy at all anymore. Back then I had a different crush each week. Life was so simple then and I didn't even know it. I think the teachers that had the biggest impact in my life were Steven Solinko at Bridgeview, Mr. Mills at Wilkens, Mr. B at Argo and Mico Slattery at the tribal college I attend now. It's funny when I look back I couldn't wait to turn 16 so I could get out of school but now at 46 I love it. Military I myself have not been in the military but I was a military wife from 1983 - 1986 My husband David Roney was a 64 Clutch in the 84th Trans at Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah, Ga. I would like to reconnect with some of our friends, even though David and I are no longer together we had many mutual friends from his company and from the Ranger Battalion. So if anyone from there at that time remembers us please write. David and I had a little girl named Angel and our second daughter Jessica was born at Candlier Hospital on Feb.8,1985.
