In spring 2002, I moved to Santa Fe, near old stomping grounds. Good to have real chili again!
I lived in California for about 6 years. Before CA, I worked in different towns in NM and AZ for 18 years. I taught HS and JH for 8 years, was a draftsperson for a year or 2, a UNIX SA for about 13 years, and a tech writer / SA for about 3 years. I treasure the friends I made in each job and town. church till just before I moved back to NM, when health problems made it hard to continue.
I've been planting flowers and trees in my yard one by one; after 7 years, it has transformed from barren to garden. The 4 in 1 apple is full of fruit, and so is the red currant. Flowers of different colors come and go at different times. There's always more to do.
I hope my classmates and coworkers have been having a great life, full of love and growth and blessings -- with not too much difficulty, though we all get some of that. God bless you all!
