My favorite part of my work is helping immigrants who are learning English to also learn about the world of work in the USA, and to make their lives better. I would like to possibly work part time as an English as a second language instructor.
I retired the end of March 2014. I have worked in employment training since 1984, first for Tuolumne County for over 8 years, then for Napa County for 9 months, before taking the job with Marin. Previously I was an Adaptive PE Specialist for special education,a Spanish teacher, and a substitute teacher in all subjects.
I have also taught Spanish for Travelers in Adult Ed.
