Anne's Story
I have been teaching at Scottsville Elementary since graduating from Randolph Macon Women's College. So, I wrapped up my 36th year this past June. I have taught 3rd,4th,5th, and combinations of all 3. Currently I am teaching third, but hope to get back to 4/5 team in fall of 2010. I have been married for 33 years to Carter Conrad, a test engineer with Sperry Marine Systems, and we have two grown sons,Hunter,31 and Haden,29. US Army,10th Mountain Division out of Fort Drum, NY. He is now serving as a drill sergeant at Fort Jackson,SC. Haden graduated from Candler School of Divinity at Emory University in May and currently is the minister of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Bremen,GA. Both boys are graduated from VT and are married, and Hunter has two sons,Jayden,4, and Gavin,6 months.My husband and I now have two "canine" kids at home,Bella,4 year old 100 pound Golden and Coletrane, 13 year old Black Lab mix.
