Anne's Story
After high school I went on to college at SUNY New Paltz. Many of you didn't know that all throughout high school (and most middle school) my dad was dying of cancer. So all the times that you were making fun of me or ridiculing me or bullying me, I was going home to much worse. My dad couldn’t eat, couldn’t see, couldn’t walk or bathe or go to the bathroom by himself. I hope you all read this and try to look yourselves in the mirror. You know who you are. d me, every time you laughed at me, every time you wouldn’t move in the seat on the bus so I could sit down, I lived through much worse than you could dish out and came out a better person. I am a world traveler, mother of two, and wife of 36 years. I hold a Masters Degree and am a certified Compliance Officer. Nothing you have ever said or done to me held me back. I only hope that your children don’t have to face bullies like you were to me. Only then will you know the hurt.
