Anne's Story
"Retired" from actually working at a bank in 2006 after having worked remotely parttime for 4 years as I left Nashville at that time. However, I immediately signed a consulting contract with InsBank in Nashville, the last of the 3 denovo banks I helped form. I continue this relationship and make infrequent trips to Nashville form my home on the beach. Additionally, I have authored or co-authored 12 publications for the banking industry. Key FL in 2004 and then in 2018 made to decision to get closer to family and joined my oldest son and his family in spend New Braunfels, TX and also spend some time with my other son in Alabama. I have a granddaughter and a grandson in Texas as well. I admit I do miss my many friends from TN but am blessed that I do get visits from them and that I use the bank as an opportunity to return to my Tennessee roots periodically and look forward to any chance to do so.
I enjoyed my time at beach, particularly my “snow bird” friends who spent several months with us each year but it was time to be closer to family.
