Anne-Marie's Story
Life
I got married in 2000. I have 2 boys, a 3-yr-old and 10-mo-old. Raziel is 3, Malchiah is 10 mo. I was pregnant at SAC and got married during the time I attended school there. I left SAC in my 3rd trimester, and haven't been happier. After Raziel was born I attended and graduated NIT as a certified medical assistant, and got a job at a podiatrist's office. I still hang out w/ one of my coworkers from there. I then worked at West for about 11 mo before being promoted to supervisor for VOOM (look us up on the web). I've been an Ind. AVON Sales Rep for several years now, and I am also a Cert. Beauty Advisor, and I am also in Leadership.
My husband graduated in 1998 from Cornerstone, and I met him through Fred Moore, Jr., who graduated from Jefferson in 1998 as well.
My husband (Niel) works at Wal-Mart currently.
We have a black lab, about 8 mo old, her name is Coppertone.
I have a 1965 midnight-blue w/ white vinyl top Ford Mustang (go figure, I own a Mustang, my school mascott is the Mighty Mustang). She needs work, and I plan to have her fixed up this year...Expand for more
.
I still hang out with a few of my high school friends, I lost touch with most of them. I do miss everyone and all the fun and mischief.
At Jeff I was in the choir, theater, guitar (I still have that guitar and plan to give it to my kids when they get older), dance, and of course I also participated in Class of '99 activities.
I plan on returning to school to complete my associate in arts for teaching at SAC this year.
Baby Hallie was born the day before Valentine's Day. I'm FINALLY an aunt!
I've just aquired a '66 pony edition 'Stang! I can feel the power when I drive, she sounds beautiful, and you know what I mean if you've ever driven a true (classic) muscle car!
But my life now is so interesting.
That's about it for me, only a few big events happened since I graduated. I look forward to talking to old friends from anywhere I went to school or work.
School
My happiest moments in hs were when I was onstage acting, singing, whatever. I really miss those days...and I think of my classmates from those times frequently..and what I could have changed...
