Anne's Story

Life I left my family in New Jersey to go to New Rochelle, a woman's college in NY. When I graduated my family had moved to the Boston area, so I never got back to New Jersey. I married my NY college sweetheart in Cohassett Mass, and we lived in NY for ten years where I taught art and then worked in the Ossining Public Library, then we moved to Tucson Arizona where we have been ever since. I have worked in a local art museum, an academic pre-school and a desert nature park nearby in Tucson. We have three grown children who have all moved out now, two boys and a girl, they all have their own jobs and their own mortgages now, so I think we successfully raised them without any seri...Expand for more
ous problems. One is married and he and his wife, have our only grandson in Chicago, both of my folks are still alive and live in Florida. All of my 5 siblings are still alive and still speaking to me too. I recently left my teaching job and traveled for months in France visiting historical landmarks, art museums and local spots of natural beauty, while our two younger children spent their junior year abroad. We were with our whole family in southern France for the Millinium Celebration in 2000.
