College
I loved the BC campus - I felt as though I had left Brooklyn for someplace else. Hard work was mandatory and socializing was part of the fun. Some memories begin to fade but I still remember Dr. Fennel, biology, and my chem professor who always spoke about the University of Basel which he attended. Country Fair and house plans ( Taffee House) were a big part of social atmosphere. Some friends still keep in contact - but others are lost to time and place, etc., etc. The cafeteria was a favorite place to hang out - before the Student Union was completed. highlights of my college career. I'll never forget my freshman English prof. accusing me of being "facetious" when responding to one of her questions regarding "Moby Dick". And trying to speak Old English in my Chaucer class --- I could barely get rid of my Brooklyn accent let alone speak Old English. Ah, the good old days - Ingersoll Hall, the Library, where I spent many an hour writing term papers for my English teachers. It's fun to reminisce - especially when you can still remember what you're reminiscing about...
