Anne's Story

Life I received my BS from UT-Austin in Speech-language pathology in 2000, and my MS from Arizona State in 2002, same field. I married Thatcher in Jan 2002 in Las Vegas, and moved to central California after graduation to live with him. We renewed our vows in Santa Barbara that year, in a slightly more traditional manner than our first wedding. Thatcher is a Master Diver with the Navy Seabees. I work part-time as a speech-language pathologist in a skilled nursing facility, treating stroke patients, etc, for their communication and swallowing deficits. en my husband retires from the Navy. CA is great, but there's no place like home. We have one beautiful child, Thatcher Holden, born Nov 2005. He is the light of our lives! College After graduating from UT, I went to Arizona State University in Tempe, where I received my master's degree in speech pathology. It was a great experience. Good town, good friends, good school. Workplace Prior to my current job, I worked for Select Therapies, also as a speech-language pathologist in a skilled nursing facility. I have also had several per diem jobs, including Home Health and an adult day center.
