Anne's Story
Life
Moved to Plains,Ks. in 82. Got married in 1988.Have 2 children ages 12 and 8(soon to be 9). My husband drives his own truck and hauls grain. I have been working at Dekalb Swine Genetics for 3 years. I worked in the local grocery store for 13 years.
My boys have really grown up. My oldest graduates next year (2006). This year he was nominated to go to Boys State. I am now the team lead at my farm. My husband is still hauling grain with his own truck. My mom and...Expand for more

After working 9 years and working through numerous changes, I quit the hog business and have been working in Plains at the ADM-Collingwood Grain as a secretary since August, 2006. I run the scales as well as help the assisitant manager. It is different in some ways, but as it is corporate run, alot of things are the same. Adam has concluded his first semester of college, and did very well.
