Anne's Story
Well,...... been in Texas since 1978 but return to NJ once a year or so to maintain my Northern accent! Living in The Woodlands now (just North of Houston), married to Bill Paul for 34 years. We have one daughter, Sarah, age 25, and dog, Missy, age 12 yrs. Taught preschool for 22 years. Currently a crossing guard for Conroe ISD and in the summer, teach at the local community college for the children's Discovery Camp. This makes the 5th summer (2010) I am teaching Kids Cuisine to grades 3 - 8. I keep very busy with lots of neighborhood activities, church activities, and other interests. Some activities I enjoy are gardening, going to estate sales, working on the scrapbooks, photography, sewing, embroidery, cooking, going to the gym (water aerobics and pilates), genealogy, exploring off the beaten path, going to plays, concerts, playing brass bells at church (25 years) (wish i was as good as the Raleigh RIngers), keeping the neighborhood email list up to date; not necessairly in that order!!
Does anyone remember the music teacher, Mrs. Elsa Long from Strawbridge School? She wrote a New Jersey State Song that we learned while at Strawbridge School. Did that song ever make it to become the state song for New Jersey? I still know it. Just wondering.......
