I guess I should write something about my life after highschool. Where to start? I moved to Calgary late in 1972. Worked at the Sheraton Hotel in Reservations when I first got there. My Boyfriend Doug had gone up there earlier in 1972 and wanted me to join him. We were living in an apartment for a while but then moved into a house in 1973 because we had gotten a couple of dogs, and they needed more space.Soon after moving into the house I got a job at the Calgary General Hospital in the Laundry. Good pay and benefits. October of 73 we got married. Small wedding in Calgary with friends and family attending.In May of 1974 went for a trip back to Germany ( where I was born, and went to school to the age of 12), for 6 weeks. In 1975 made the decision to move back to Regina. Got a job working at the Plains Health Centre right away, working housekeeping and Service Aid in the O.R. Loved that job. Spring of 1976 bought our first house.Sept./76 my son Dillan was born. Summer of /78 we decided to try small town living and bought a 3 Bedr. Bungalow in Grey Sask.In oct/78 my daughter Destiny was born.It was nice and quiet out there, but the commute to work everyday in Winter was not a fun time, especially with two small kids in tow. It was actually quite dangerous, since with our work we would not get home till very late at night. So we sold our place and moved back to Regina into a 4 Level Split, where we still are today. Not leaving here till they take me out in a box.
