Annette's Story
Life
I graduated Clark Highschool in 1980, then worked and went to school finally graduating from SouthWest Texas State University in 1990 with a degree in management. During College, I worked at USAA as a claims adjuster for about 5 years.
I was married to Peter M. Lewis, ChFC, LUTCF in 1986. Pete started his own insurance and investment practice in 1986. I joined the firm in 1992 where I am the practice manager, chief bottle washer and general computer person. Our practice has grown from 2 people to about 4 assistants and 3 agents. I have taught practice management around the country to other agents and agencies. I really enjoy this part of my life. I really am responsible for HR, technology and accounting part of the practice. One of my biggest joys is my son Nicholas, born in 1999. He will be 5 in May. He is a very happy, smart child. He will attend Bracken Christian School next year. He enjoys singing and dancing.
Another joy is traveling extensively around the country and Europe with my son and husband....I love the beach.
I am involved with Alamo City Rugby Football club raising funds to help the less fortunate. Voluteering for Bulverde Baptist Church and St. Thomas School keeps me busy. In my spare time, I am working on a black sash in Kung-fu. I have enjoyed learning two other forms of karate over the years.
Over the years, I have changed dramatically with the help and support of my husband.
