Hey gang,
I finally have figured out what I want to be when I grow up - not that I've grown up. :) I currently am teaching guitar to elementary and a few high school students - loving it. Loving being a mom to a great 4-year old boy, A.J. (yes, I did wait a long time!). Happily married to a great guy with a big heart named Gerald. Life is very good. Hard to believe I am in my 40's! I still feel like I'm in my 20's, just without all the baggage. :) I remember being at NDHS in the late '70s and early '80s - when the Bay City Rollers were big, and the 2 Maries in my grade 9 homeroom were big fans! il McNeil dances, hoping to find "true love". When "Le Freak" was playing, and Anita Ward was singing about "Ring My Bell". I remember jamming with Janet Mulvihill for hours and hours and loving music (where are you these days, Janet....I don't remember your married name and have wanted to reconnect with you). When Chuck Mangione made it big with "Feels So Good" - and our own beloved Janet Downs played it on trumpet!! I had a wah-wah pedal back then for my electric guitar. I have been hearing some "oldies", courtesy of one of my student's parents who has a great collection of music that her 10-year old is trying to learn. Fun times!
