Life There is not much to tell...after I graduated from La Habra High School I went to Fullerton J.C. for about a semester. I wanted to become an Airline Stewardess and applied for TWA but they said I needed to wait for two years. Being young and foolish I could not wait so I compromised and joined the Navy. My boyfriend Don at the time was not thrilled with my choice. One of the biggest mistakes of my life was joining the Navy. After rebelling in the service I got an Honorable Discharge. I was pretty confused. Don and I broke up about a year later. The next ten years were set in trying to find myself. I call it my wilderness experience. I traveled to Europe, stayed in Scotts Valley, CA for awhile, moved to Oregon, went to Texas. I was very restless. Then in 1974 I gave in to what I knew God wanted me to do all along. I joined Campus Crusade for Christ International in San Bernardino. There I started to settle down, follow the Lord, and find purpose to my life. I worked for them for 13 years when my sister Janice called and said isn't it time to come home to La Habra. Which I did. My sister found me a place to rent then I tried to reconnect with some friends. I started working at Biola University. I stayed there three years. In 1994 I started working for the State of CA. I love it! I am happy and at peace with myself and with God. Janice, my sister, works with me. We have a great time together. She keeps telling me I always wanted to "boss" her around! Ha! Not so! I guess that is about it. This is my life. May God bless each of your lives and I pray that you have peace of mind and happiness.
