Hi friends,
I am Annie Bell(ew-w}Jones-Holmes. My
husband Willie and I now reside in Helena, Alabama. Although now retired, I did return to Marion in 1981, served as Chief Clerk in the Tax Assessor's office for five years and served as Judicial Assistant to the District Judge of Perry County twenty two years. Before that time, I lived in the city of Chicago sixteen years and prior to that,the city of New York for one year. I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
To blow off steam, I get into my car, ride the freeway and holler at the Lord until He says, Now this is me that you are talking to Annie. Wait on me;I will answer your prayers and solve your problems in my time, my way.
