BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Anthony (Tony) M. Davis has been with the New Jersey Department of Transportation since 1987 in the Divisions of Civil Rights and Project Planning and Development. He has held several positions including Senior Field Representative; Manager, Contract Compliance; Director, Division of Civil Rights/Affirmative Action and is currently serving as Manager of the Project Development Support Unit (PDS) within in the Division of Project Planning and Development. His major responsibilities include managing the PDS Unit on a day-to-day basis, assisting the planning division in assessing the impacts of transportation projects on communities. Mr. Davis is a graduate of Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, with a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering. In addition, he has earned continuing education credits from Boston University and is a graduate of the Certified Public Managers Program.
Besides his regular duties, Mr. Davis is involved in community activities and is currently serving as a Board Member of the Mercer County Improvement Authority, Trenton Youth Services Commission, Martin House Learning Center and is Former Board President of the Mercer County Special Services School District.
He married Beverly Bronner in May of 1986 and from that union three beautiful children were born, Anthony (22-yrs. of age), Brittany (21yrs. of age) and Chad (20yrs. of age).
