Looking down the nose at age 61 makes one relective. Gay male, one long-term partner. Who, though "broken up" remains a great friend. Been in/around the graphic arts/printing industry my whole adult life. A "groupie" for the ladies professional duckpin tour since the mid-70s. Was very involved in the DC gay/lesbian [10 pin] bowling scene for 20 years until arthritis ended that.
