Anthony's Story
Since graduating from JGHS, I have had a wonderful journey of life. Even though I barely graduated, I still remember many fond moments and funny times! Along the way I've met wonderful people, many of whom were JGHS alumni who were also in law enforcement. Despite not being interested in school at the time, I completed both my bachelor's and master's degrees along the way! (big lesson I am teaching to my kids today)
As I always said with the police department "I had the front seat of the best show on earth" while being a police officer for may years!
The 9/11 attack, as well as making it out safely, was probably one of the worst times for me, my family, and our country! Served on a non-profit's lobbyi...Expand for more
ng team for over 10 years in Washington, D.C. on behalf of the nations first responders passing over thirteen 9/11 health bills over this long period of time. Having the opportunity to lobby and advocate was an amazing experience. Along the way, we received great support from everyone as we accomplished something that all of the politicians said was impossible. John Feal, a Commack South High School alumnus, led this great advocacy group! It just goes to show how we can work together as John was just across Jericho Turnpike! Who knew?
This goes to show that we all can work together!
