Anthony's Story
For 49 of the 50 years since graduating from AHS I have lived in either Kansas, Colorado, or Texas. I attended Kansas State University twice, 1974-1978(BSNRM) and 1996-2001(BSEE). I worked as a patrol deputy for the Arapahoe County Sheriffs Dept in Littleton, CO in the 80's and 90's. I worked at L3 in Greenville, TX from 2001-2022 as a design engineer and then a systems engineer helping to make the mission systems equipment for electronic surveillance aircraft. I am now retired. n happily married to Beth since 1994, we will be celebrating our 30th anniversary in Oct 2024 .
With my recent retirement and the upcoming 50th reunion of the AHS class of 1974 I have taken a look back and realize I've had a really good life. I've had amazing experiences, met some great people and traveled around the country. And hey - how many people get to have a successful carrier change at mid-life. Even though i've had lows and highs like everyone else I look back can't imagine having a different life, I'm very happy with how my life turned out.
