Life
After completing twenty years in the United States Navy, working various jobs in the State of Virginia and attending colleges while working full time. Im currently working at Norfolk Shipbuilding and Drydock Corporation in Norfolk, Virginia. I am still happily married to the same girl that I grown-up in Detroit Michigan and Im still trying to locate old friends from the passed.

2.) Conduct daily safety walks onboard various United States Naval Ships, Commercial Ships, and Merchant Ships to insure Shipyard personnel, contactors, subcontractors working onboard shall following all OSHA parts 1910, 1915 and NAVSEA 009 Standard Items instruction. Also insuring safe personnel working condition throughout shipyard facilities dry-docks, offices, supply warehouses and repair shops. Reporting and detecting environmental hazards throughout shipyard facility, ships and shipyard water ways perimeter. Disconnecting and monitoring fire protection agent onboard ships to insure safe personnel working conditions. Conducting ship movement safety walks to insure safe line handling procedure, shore to ship hookup safety and emergency fire plug services onboard ships. Insuring safe operation for Aerial lift equipments, JLG, folk lift, emergency man lift operation, mobile cranes, canes, trucks and other electrical and hydraulic lifting and support equipment. Other Shipbuilding and Drydock qualification includes qualified shipyard industrial 2nd class rigging mechanic, scaffold erecting and line handling.
