Anwyl (Onnie)'s Story
I met my husband at Penn State in an American History class which I was taking for the 2nd time. We were married in 1965. He retired from the Air Force in 1985 and from his second job in 2007. While in the AF we lived, in Texas, Nebraska, Texas again, Ohio, Michigan, Germany, and finally Illinois where we have lived sine 1981.
My Kids
John, living in Florida, works for Carpenter Industries, He is married. No kids of his own.
Andrew, now living in Georgia (Fort Gordon), is a full colonel and Chief of the Dental at Eisenhower A...Expand for more
rmy Medical Center. He is married and has 2 natural children (girl and boy) plus an adopted girl from Ethiopia and a sister and brother duo from the Marshall Islands.
Steven, living in Idaho, works for the Idaho He has 2 natural children (boy and girl). He recently remarried and gained 2 sons and 2 daughters.
My Job
I was a church administrator and retired 3 years ago. I have free time now to pursue other interests. I was commissioned as a Stephen Minister in 2007 and am now the Program Director for my church's team of 30.
