April's Story
Life
I moved to Chicago in 1986 and have stayed in the area ever since. Thought I'd be a lifetime city dweller - then my kids came along and we moved to the burbs ~ as soon as the kids are gone it's back to the city! My daughter Shelby is 12 and my son Logan is 8. They keep me very busy with various activities. I was lucky and got to stay home with them when they were Iyoung.

I have been with my husband Greg for 23 years, married for 15 of those this year. We both still have family in Lafayette. We visit when we can.
I truly enjoy spending time with my kids, and am very involved in their schools, a fact that they don't also appreciate, but will when they're older.
We enjoy hanging out with friends on the deck or over a fire in the backyard. We're quite the homebodies these days. Although we still attend concerts any chance we get.
I would have to say life is good in Brookfield!
I look forward to reconnecting with some old friends.
