April's Story
Life
Life after high school- ahhh... there is life after high school after all. It has been an incredible journey for me. I've worked very hard to pursue my educational goals and have been rewarded with great success.
Before I went back to school, I moved to North Carolina, to follow my heart and four years later, that turned out to be a total disaster. So... I've graduated college with my Master's degree, had my heart broken a few times, and overcome some serious tragedies but through it all, I've learned a lot about myself and wouldn't mind trading stories... Just email me!
College
I recently finished up my Master's degree and can't wait to hit the books ag...Expand for more
ain! I truly love college and if the opportunity presented itself (i.e. any wealthy classmates offered to take care of me and pay my tuition), I would quit work altogether and pursue a Ph.D., then a J.D. and then... I don't know. I just really found myself in college and would love to continue that journey.
Workplace
I'm still in that awkward stage of looking for the right job/fit after college. My friend and mentor told me that no matter what I do, I'm not going to like it (so far she's been right)... I still need to do a lot of soul searching and professional develoment and with any luck there will be a bright light at the end of the tunnel and no freight train!
