April's Story

Life It has been great to hear from all of you from school. Just to catch up.....My husband and I just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary. We have a true Yours/Mine/Ours family. We have 9 children between us and 3 grandchildren. Currently we have 3 adult children who work and live on their own in three different states. We have 3 in and/or finishing up at University in Three different States. One highschool age son who lives out of state with his mom...we have an 8year old and a 6 year old that we homeschool. The grandkids are 2, 5, 5. I never really left the area, although I haven't lived in Duncanville since 1983. Would love for more of you to leave your names so we could touch base again after so many years. I haven't made a reunion since '91. School Would love to hear from the Ag group and all associated with it. Great memories and fun times....some of the Best of times....... Workplace I have had the great honor of "having it all". ll at once. The old saying "Tried it....didn't like it" applies to most of it. Who knew....Full-time wife/homeschooling mother is more challenging and exciting than the High Tech Industry or Nursing. I know I never expected it to be. Military ME?!?!?!?!?Let's just say it...if being a Soldier or Sailor, or Marine depended on someone like ME....the USA WOULD be in a bucket of trouble. Thank God for those of you who have the courage, constitution, drive and character to serve. Those serving and who have served are in my prayers every night and I want to thank you ALL. From the comrades of my father in WWII...all the way to the Vietnam Vets who served along with my Marine brother to those who served in Desert Storm with my Husband and those serving now in Iraq, Afghanistan....and all the other places that we the people and the "news" forget to mention. Thank you...My family cares about you and your family and pray for God to rain blessings on you and yours for generations to come.
