April's Story
Life
After graduation I continued with with beauty school and finished that in September 1971...In 1972, I met and married a "Dover Guy" and moved to California...That lasted all of 2 years, so I moved back to Mt. Arlington and got divorced...For the next 7 years I basically enjoyed life, Hey, It was the 70's..lol..Got into Drag Racing, (Big Surprise there huh?), worked as a hair stylist and moved to NYC for a time...Moved back to Jersey in 1981 and "hung up my scissors"...Changed careers and started with a local bank and worked as Community Banking Officer for 19 yrs...
Met my 2nd husband in 1982, another "Dover Guy", and mar...Expand for more
ried him in 1984...The "Light of my Life", my son Chase was born in 1988...
I left the bank in 2000 and took a part-time position as CFO for a former bank clients contracting corporation...Resigned from that position in 2002 to devote more time to my internet based business with which I am doing very well...I also currently devote many hours daily to homeless pets...Transporting them to their new fur-ever homes or to rescues, doing home visits to make sure the adoptive family is good fit and I am an Admin for a rescue transport group on FaceBook...This is the most rewarding thing I have ever done, and it makes my heart smile...
