ether. We still remain friends to this day, but we don't talk or get together as much as we should. Cindy was even a bridesmaid at my wedding. I hope she is still in my life to come to my next wedding (LOL). I also remember my roommate Lynde Neville (who I lost contact with). We had a lot of fun together also. Our very large group of friends would all go to parties on the weekends on and off campus, and we would go bowling. I could go on and on about all the fun times in college (because there are sooooo many memories), but this box only allows me 2,972 more characters....LOL I really miss a great friend I had in college though. His name was Darren Payne, and I really wish I could locate his family again. Darren was involved in a fatal car crash on Alligator Alley not long after graduating from college. We had a very tight group of friends in college, and things were not the same when Darren was gone. Darren was always the life of the party. To this day, I still think about him, and I really wish he was still around. I miss you Darren!! Now on to my last college roommate, Gina Wilt. OMG now she was a trip. This midwestern US girl called ATM machines "cash stations" and referred to soda as "POP". She was a laugh a minute after I got to really know her. She and I kept in touch after college, but she is yet another person I managed to lose contact with. And last but not least, let's talk about my friend Kim Fennell (now Hazelton). She and I were inseparable during my last semesters at USF. At the time we were at USF, the popular song of the time was "DONKEY BUTT" by a group called Twelve Guage. OMG how we LOVED that song. I just spoke with Kim a few weeks ago, and of course we couldn't get through the conversation without reminiscing about the Donkey Butt song.....LOL Workplace After my short 3-year stint at the University of South Florida, I returned home to the city of Sunrise to live with my parents. My mom forced me (thankfully) to find a job instead of sitting at home being depressed about my life changes. I started out with various temp jobs until I came upon EMSA (which has since changed to InPhyNet, MedPartners, and now Team Health). I started out temp to perm, and I have been there since 1994. I started out in Provider Relations and then moved upward to Contract Support (now known as the Managed Care Department). I have steadily received promotion after promotion on avg of every 2 years. I graduated from a cubicle to an office years ago, and now our department is moving from the yucky part of Plantation to the Sawgrass Mills area....yay (new digs)...LOL I will now graduate from an office with no window to an office WITH a window. My new boss has even purchased all of us Managers laptops to take home. My how work-life has changed. However, I am very happy with the changes as long as I still have my job and continue to grow and advance.
