Arif's Story
Well I have certainly got up to lots since 86. I went to BC in Canada to study Business but after a year my father died and since my family moved back to London England after I graduated I moved back to the UK as well after my father passed on.
I then attended an American University in England so I could transfer my Canadian credits and then got bored of doing business studies, but as part of my degree I had to do a math course so I did programming 101 and fell in love with computers. I ended up with a BSC in computers a BiBus ( Bachelors International Business) and a minor degree in English ( Dont ask I enjoy reading a lot ) and was only a course short of a degree in Psychology.
Any way after University I was at a loss what to do so I tried many things including Importing ladies leather trousers and trying to sell computers all of which I was never good at. E...Expand for more
ventually I found I was good at writing software and trading in Financial markets which I gained through my business degree so now a days I generally write software for large investment banks my client list now includes JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch amongst others. - I swear I had nothing to do with the credit crisis of 2007/8 - honest guv. Anyway I have recently taken a break to concentrate on doing a course in Quant Finance.
I now base myself in London even though I do travel a lot for work (most of my clients are American) and pleasure.
My hobbies are wide and diverse including, Mountain Climbing, Underwater Photography ( particularly shark shots ), skiing and other sports, and I still play my guitar and write poetry, both of which I am still not good at. Feel free to mail me on
