Arlene's Story

After High School, I attended GVSC and graduated in 1968. I married Larry Hillary in August of 1969. After teaching at St. Alphonsus School in GR, we moved to Tucson, AZ, in 1977. In 1982 we moved again, to Kingman, AZ. We both taught school there for 23 years and then retired in 2005. We returned to Michigan, where we had a cottage for our summers for many years. We are now living the good and simple life on the Muskegon River in Stanwood, Michigan. Update....moved to Florida...didn’t like it...now back in Tucson and very happy. unt. . Since e-mail addresses are not allowed to be posted, I will spell out mine...arlene2riveratyahoodotcom. Feel free to use it to contact me. We moved to Rockford, MI in November of 2010. We only stayed in Rockford 2.5 years...now we are in Spring Hill, Florida in a 55+ community...Timber Pines. We think this will be our last move. Well, that wasn’t our last move! We have returned to the desert...now living back in Tucson, Arizona. We arrived here in February of 2018. Florida just wasn’t working for us. We realized we belong in the West and in the desert.
