When I left High School in 1957 I moved upstate and have been here ever since. After my children were born I went to college and became a teacher in 1974....I retired in 2001 from a profession I worked in with a passion. I am since on the Board of Education in this same district, and my daughter has been teaching there for years now. I am a grandmother who fights age with many activities such as aerobics, zumba, aquatics and never lost my love for dancing. I have performed in 2 shows in our local Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop, one being Fiddler, in which I played Yenta. I have close contact with some of the dear friends I made while in Lane. WHERE HAVE THE YEARS GONE?? I always wanted to be a teacher when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea idea. As it turns out, they were right. Reading, watching T.V. and going to the gym. If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have direction, interest, and COFFEE to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
