Arlene's Story
My bio has changed in the last six years, or however long it's been since I last wrote in this space. Back then I said I had 16 grandchildren. At the same time, my husband, whom I married in 2002 after we'd both been widowed, had 12. Now I have 20 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He still has 12 grandchildren and no great-grandchildren.

Del Rio News-Herald. I also publish a magazine, "Right It Write" (yes, you read that right!), which is full of articles by the people in our writers group. For the current issue, I did a celebrity interview with banjo-playing funnyman Casey Aro from Zim, Minnesota. My fellow Iron Rangers recognize him in the picture on the cover.
Maybe I should make another wishful statement and see if it comes true. OK, here goes: I hope the upcoming Christmas issue of my magazine will bring joy to a lot of people.
