Arlene's Story
In school I was in the GAA, I loved sports and earned my letter. After High School I met and married a young man, we had 2 childern, both girls.
After 20 years we devorced and went our separate ways. I now live in Huntington Beach, CA. My girls grew up to be fine young ladies. I have 3 grandhildren. Darlene has two boys.
Martyn 23,is in college studying video techknowledgely. Cristopher 26, is married and is a fireman for the LA County Fire Dept. Darlene and boys presently live in Mission Viejo, CA. Deborah has a daughter Ashley 21. Ashley is a bank manager assistant. Ashley lives in Colorado Springs, CO. Deborah lives in Crystal River, FL.
I am now married to a wonderful man, Mark, whom you all will meet at the reunion. We both work for the City of Huntington Beach. I work in the Finance Dept. I did payroll and now I am in accounts payable. I have been with the city for 30 1/4 years. ...Expand for more
Mark is building maintinance engineer for the Public Works Dept. Mark oversees city hall, police dept. and city library, and has been with the city for 38 years. We love to travel, and ride the Harley motorcycle. I ride passenger. Mark has a 2004 Road King. The longest ride we have taken was to Sturgis,SD. over 4,000 miles, awsome ride. We roade with a group of our friends. We took a trip to China last year, with a group from the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce. It was a fabulous experence, and we walked the Great China Wall. Mark and I live about 2 miles from the beach. In the summer we enjoy riding our bicycles to the beach, riding along the beach path, laying out, taking a swim, having a icecream cone while listening to a summer concert at the pier, and then riding home. A great way to spend a summer day. I am looking forward to the reunion and reminiscing.
